Yes, Lou and Lewie’s has been designed to cater for groups, family reunions and friends’ get togethers. You can book both apartments together which sleeps a total of 12 guests.

Yes, you are very welcome to book just Lou’s (upstairs apartment, accommodates 6 guests) or Lewie’s (ground floor apartment, accommodates 6 guests). Both spaces have their own private entrance, garden and BBQ area, as well as kitchen, dining, living room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Both Lou and Lewie’s have the same bed configuration.

The Master and Double bedroom (called the Garden Room upstairs) have hotel luxury king beds which can be split into two long singles. The Twin rooms have two single beds. All beds have the softest sheets and a mountain of pillows!

Please let us know on the Guest Registration form how you would like the Master and Double bedrooms configured. The bed set up cannot be changed at short notice.

Yes, there is off-road parking for one car per apartment and plenty of on street parking in front.

Yes you do, however we are pleased to provide you with a very smart beach umbrella and two beach chairs.

Glad you asked! You will find every bathroom supplied with the beautiful Byron Bay Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash, all created from natural ingredients. So you can lighten the load and leave yours at home if you wish.

There is also a hairdryer in every bathroom, bath towels, hand towels and face washers for every guest plus two bathmats per bathroom, so when one gets wet and sandy, you have a second fresh one to enjoy!  

The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee machine, microwave, blender, and the holiday toasty machine! There is also plenty of cleaning supplies including dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder in the laundry to get you started. And for when you arrive, there’s a few complimentary coffee capsules, tea, hot chocolate and bickies!

To stock up, the Lucky 7 and Paradise Fruit in Sawtell have the basics or Coles and Woollies in Toormina Gardens, a 10min drive away, have it all.

There are some excellent butchers, farm shops and fishmongers in the area, so if you want to order in advance – check out our Local guide for more details.

Absolutely, we have purchased the latest Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine & Milk Frother because we know how important this is.  And for those who enjoy a smoothie in the morning, we have a NutriBullet to start your day the right way. Want to bring your own pods, our machines takes the Vertuo capsules.

Yes, high end bed linen and towels are provided. Just bring beach towels.

Sadly not but the showers are large and have great water pressure.

Yes and its free to our guests. Details will be included in your welcome email.

Happy to provide a highchair and kids plastic plates, cutlery and cups but please bring your own travel cot and linen.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Yes, children are welcome.  The same rate applies for children and adults and there is no charge for infants that sleep in travel cots.

You betcha! The beach is literally 20 meters away. Follow the path in front of the house through the bush and you will pop out at the Southern end of the beach, near the Island.  A great spot for surfing (hence the surf lookout at the end of the path) plus the Island provides good shelter for kids to play in calmer water.

Sawtell has an awesome selection of laid-back cafes and eateries which all spill out onto First Avenue. It’s a short 5-minute walk from the house and the simplest route is walk left out the house and follow the road up to Boronia Street, turn right and walk into town (past the sleeping policeman) and you’ll arrive at the start of First Ave.
